2024 VHJA Higher Education Scholarship Application
The VHJA Board of Directors, as part of its mission to support education, established this scholarship in 2005. It has been established as an annual scholarship award to recognize members who have supported our organization, shown dedication to our sport, become well-rounded individuals, and wish to further their education.
Juniors and Amateurs who were or will be enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college, university, or trade school for the fall semester 2023 and the spring semester 2024, are invited to apply for the $1,000 scholarship. Requirements for the application include: proof of membership in VHJA; an essay on the applicant’s VHJA experience; a detailed application form; and two letters of recommendation, one of which is required to be from the applicant’s trainer. The applications will be judged by an outside, independent review panel.
