Horses may be registered under any current membership for an additional $10 per horse in order for Jumper and Hunter Class/Division points to be be accumulated.  Please note that points do not “count” until membership is submitted to the VHJA Secretary OR the affiliated horse show secretary.  In order to qualify for the Year-End Championship Awards, each rider/horse must compete in at least three VHJA affiliated shows in the division/class of the award in the calendar year.

VHJA also offers Equitation Medal Finals, Hunter Finals and Jumper Finals.   All riders must be members in order to compete in any Medals class.  Medal Finals are qualified by either accumulating 10 points according the Medal Points System (below), or by competing in the class three or more times (a minimum of 2 riders must compete in the class to count).  In order to qualify for Hunter and Jumper Finals, horses must receive a 1-6 placing in their respective class or division and must be registered prior to competition.  *Riders competing in any of the Finals classes must be a VHJA member.
